| About the studio |
| Elizabeth MacAskill Photography began as a hobby and in 2002 has since blossomed into full-fledged business. It's no less a labor of love, though. I work out of my humble home studio with lights and backdrops, in addition to shooting weddings, families, and children on-location among the many gorgeous settings in the San Francisco Bay Area. From traditional formal poses to fun-loving, full-of-life candids, I do it all. |
| About my Style |
| Choosing the right wedding photographer for *you* is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. After all, you will remember the wedding day through the eyes, heart and talent of your wedding photographer. That’s why it's extremely important to make sure you know and understand your photographer's style and appreciate his/her work before hiring them. My focus of wedding photography is on a narrative style. Although I take some formal portraits of families/friends, for the most part, I strive to be completely unobtrusive so that people will act naturally and allow me to capture their true personalities and feelings. I offer color and b/w coverage to capture the people, places, and events of your day. I enjoy highlighting the important details of your wedding day which make your wedding unique and special to you: the buttons that trail the back of your dress, the hand-crafted delicacies of the cake, the lace that ties your shoes, the bouquet. |
